Private to Self Lila hasn't been responding to my communication all evening.
I wait until morning and then I send people to get her out. |

I am not sure if my account will end up deleted tomorrow, but if Charles chooses to block out my voice, then at least it will be known that this is his choice. For now, as this is supposed to be an open forum for mutants and their supporters, I would like to keep my account here.
I have been working tirelessly the past week to set up my new home, to secure it, and to make sure that those who have come for my shelter and willing to do what is necessary for all of our safety. I have also been looking into the increasingly horrid situation in Genosha. This is a world economy that few know is borne on the backs of mutant slavery.
I will have photos soon. I am thinking now about what I can do to help my brothers in Genosha, and you should too. To start, do not buy products Made in Genosha. Do not support the fruits of slave labour. |

Among the major events that transpired here Friday, the sign that marked the entrance of Auschwitz was stolen in the early morning before sunrise. It was recovered by police, cut into three pieces today. |

Food for thought. 1. If tomorrow you were to wake up, turn on the TV, and find out that Proposition X had passed (the bill still being bounced around the floor of the Senate that would give our government the right to sterilize mutants), what immediate action would you take? Would you voluntarily turn yourself in, take secret precautions, or outright revolt?
2. If government recommended health care plans were to include prenatal testing for the X-Gene, would you take advantage of that benefit and what might the repercussions be?
3. If a scientist were to develop a treatment to suppress X-Gene mutation, would you consider taking it?
On an unrelated note, Hanukkah starts tomorrow night. |

Maybe it's because I don't celebrate Christmas, but I find it absolutely absurd that humans would pack themselves into a hot, angry, dangerous environment to fight over made-for-that-day electronics which are utter crap for a chance at a bargain. You could not pay me to risk life and limb for shopping and it seems utterly contrary to the spirit of the holiday to fight over a few dollars' savings like ravenous animals. |

I'm going to be offering an extra credit course once a week on the history of ethnic cleansing and oppression. Anyone who takes this course will get AP credits. You will pick an ethnic or religious group as your independent focus for the class and write a paper by the end of it. See me to sign up. |

Private The computer Pietro obtained for me yielded the exact information I was hoping for. Trask, Stryker, and Kelly are all in it together, using their combined power to push the anti-mutant agenda.
I have more research to do before I can use this information. The average complacent human being does not rise up until you show him that such an unethical project is being funded by their tax dollars without their knowledge. A little blurring of the line separating Church and State has occurred here if Stryker is contributing to the funding of Senator Kelly's campaign.
And of course, the information needs to come out an an opportune time when the mutant community is most likely to rise up. We'll have to see. Time will reveal the perfect opportunity. |

On Monday a group of teenagers at a mall in New York City were held by mall security for eight hours because one of them had yellow eyes. The three teenagers were following mall rules, nobody was stealing. It took eight hours before police came and security disclosed that they were holding them on suspicion of theft, though they had no security tapes or packaging to support their claims. We've decided to build a garden in memory of Mr. Summers. There will be some construction off the atrium the next few weeks, an addition of a greenhouse so we can grow some warmer weather plants. |

I've been asked to speak at a diversity conference in California. I will not be around from Thursday until Monday. I think this is unique opportunity. I was chosen because I survived the holocaust, but also because this organization recognizes mutants as deserving of civil rights, and that is a great step to make. Hopefully there will be some mutants in attendance that I can reach out to.
If any of my students need my help, I'll check my email all weekend. |

Professor Xavier doesn't want you to know, but I think you all have the right to know. One of our students was kidnapped Thursday night. It is not safe to be a mutant in America, or likely anywhere on this planet. |

Wanda Have you said anything of amorous intent in the last few days? I think Mr. Braddock may be right and this incident seems to be on your level of power. |

I've realized something entirely fascinating this week. There is a general disgust and hatred among the human population towards mutants. However, this does not extend to what is commonly referred to as the "manufactured mutant." If you were born with the X-Gene, to the humans you are a disgusting creature. If you mutated from toxic waste or a spider bite, in the case of Mr. Parker, you're a hero.
Fascinating. |

I was at the cinema last night. I just arrived and decided to see what was showing. The result? Monsters vs Aliens. I guess in this case we'd be the monsters. Overall it was amusing, but what is it teaching our children?
Is it okay to lock us away like freaks of nature but then grovel when something more frightening comes along? If that were to happen, should we come to the rescue of our captors?
Discuss. |
